DESCRIPTION

The VolunTEEN program at Guthrie Robert Packer hospital gives high school students ages 14 to 17 opportunities to gain valuable employment skills, develop professional relationships, prepare for the job market and get a first-hand look at health care. VolunTEENs work during their school breaks and after school as their schedules allow. Home-schooled students volunteer as their schedule allows. Student volunteers may earn community service hours for school-related requirements. Active VolunTEENs are eligible for an annual $500 scholarship.
